Strategic Partnership with Systronix Brings Educational Robot Platform to robotSuite

Winnipeg, MB, Canada May 14, 2008 ? Cogmation Robotics is pleased to announce the inclusion of the Systronix Trackbot into both robotFoundry and robotSim. Also included are four Transducer Stations, which allow the addition of off-the-shelf or user created sensors. TrackBot is designed specifically for university-level education and research, and is based in part on three years of teaching at the University of Utah School of Computing.

"It's a solid educational platform and something we were happy to include in our system," says Shawn Schaerer, Director of Research and Development at Cogmation. "The combination of IR and cliff sensors make a lot of interesting navigation projects possible."
